Eaton easy800 control relay with Bluetooth adaptor

Eaton Corporation has introduced the easy800 control relay with Bluetooth communication: via a Bluetooth adaptor, machines and plants can be conveniently commissioned and maintained remotely. Users can now also communicate with the controller from outside noisy environments and dangerous areas. Communication between a notebook and easy800 can be bridged in normal industrial environments up to distances of 10 metres. An 8-digit PIN number for each adaptor is used as a security code for communication preventing the possibility of unauthorised accesses.

Each Bluetooth adaptor can manage up to four different notebooks and Bluetooth connections, which can be used for programming, downloads and uploads, as well as for status display. The relay has demonstrated its versatility in a wide range of applications and with function blocks such as PID controllers, mathematical functions and pulse width modulation, the easy800 provides solutions for a wide range of control and regulation tasks in industry. Thanks to its analogue and digital expandability, connectivity to standard bus systems, easyNet networkability and possibility for Ethernet communication, the easy800 control relay has become one of the most powerful of its kind on the market.
