According to statistics, each year about 50 square kilometres of new roof space becomes available for photovoltaic energy solutions. With large-scale applications, Schneider Electric is able to provide the complete electrical chain between the PV modules and the grid connection. Services include real-time monitoring, advanced automation, power conversion and security.
Kleynhans says the customised solutions are designed to ensure 97% power availability over 20 years. “This translates into greater energy efficiency and improved revenues for user companies because modular solutions reduce costs.”
