Endress+Hauser's spare part finding tool

March 2013 News

The spare part finding tool (SFT) offers users the ability to determine the availability of existing spare parts for their Endress+Hauser products via the website www.za.endress.com.

There are a variety of search options, either generally via the product root or via the complete product structure. The more accurately the customer specifies the product structure, the more specific the listed spare parts for their respective product. Customers can even enter the serial number of their device and obtain all spare parts for it.

In the ‘Seg’ rule for segmentation, the spare part categories are listed. Category 1 means it is also visible to the end customer. Category 2 is only intended for trained Endress+Hauser personnel and therefore not visible over the Internet.

The new product platform allows service departments to use fewer kits to carry out the necessary maintenance and repairs. Therefore, a search function is provided, which lists all application possibilities of the spare part being viewed. A customer might ask where they can install the basic BASE E module? To find out, they go into the SFT and enter the spare part number. A list of all products in which this spare part can be installed is then provided.

Advantages of using the spare part finding tool:

* Overview of available accessories, maintenance and spare part kits.

* No delay in requests for spare part numbers.

* Specific spare parts search possible.

* Kit recommendations for inventory management.
