Since its founding 60 years ago, Pepperl+Fuchs' heritage of innovation has enabled it to establish and maintain a leading position as a supplier of conventional intrinsic safety interface technology. For your process application requirements, the H-system secures the galvanic isolation between the intrinsically safe field signals and the secure safe side signals of the control system.
The interface technology of the H-system offers the ideal termination board solution. Users can customise the termination board to their own I/O specifications with system connectors. The installation can be optimised with Fault Monitor and HART communication boards and a complete range of accessories. The H-system is available in two distinct product ranges. HIC represents the commitment to single loop integrity and has the smallest footprint, while the HID offers the highest channel density and functionality. Together the HIC and HID families offer the widest range of products and flexibility.
The connection from the H-system to the control system via system connectors reduces planning and start-up time. Simple maintenance due to pre-wired boards and snap on interface modules combined with minimum space requirements and power dissipation in the cabinets make this a cost optimised solution. Collective errors from the termination boards are signalled via the fault indication board with its relay output.
The H-System has worldwide certifications and is SIL2 as standard and up to SIL3.
