Knife gate valve with leak-proof sealing

PSV Mitech manufactures Geomet valves for Omnirapid, which is part of the PSV Group. Omnirapid has recently been awarded a R2,5 million order for various sized Geomet knife gate valves. The design and construction of these valves ensure leak-proof sealing against all kinds of media under stringent flow conditions, as well as long and trouble-free operating service with low maintenance costs. The knife gate valves have a unique wafer pattern flanged design and ensure leak-proof sealing against all kinds of liquids and gases, as well as sewage, powders, granules, viscous media, fly ash, pulverised fuel, cement, magnetite, coal and other solids.

Easily installed, they are narrow in width and lightweight, and are designed to be secured between flanges. The valve body is made from ductile iron to SG42 SABS 936 requirements. They are available with either a pneumatic actuation or handwheel operation in sizes DN 50 to DN 600.
