IT in Manufacturing
The eWON 2005CD/4005CD industrial LAN router provides machine builders, utility managers and system integrators with a flexible and cost effective dual LAN/Modem connectivity device to access remote machines and assets through the Internet. The unit is a full IP router featuring factory to machine LAN routing functionalities with an embedded modem for use as backup access. Seamlessly integrated with the PLC programming environment, the router monitors and collects data into internal tags when PLC maintenance is required. It has both web and FTP servers embedded as well as an independent alarm management system.
Using eWON with the Talk2M Internet service, users can take advantage of the Internet to optimise the efficiency of engineers on remote machine support. It provides quicker line setup, broader bandwidth and reliable communication in a cost effective package.
