Float level switches for liquid applications

Finetek offers a range of instruments that can be used for the measurement of liquids in various industries, including water treatment, petrochemical and food and beverage. One of the most popular instruments is the FC/FD float level switch.

This is manufactured with a permanent magnet inside it. When the float is moved into the proximity of the reed switch inside the stationary stem, the reed switch snaps the contact together and closes the electrical circuit. When the magnetic field is moved away from the reed switch, the reed switch is not connecting, therefore the circuit does not open.

The FC/FD float is manufactured with a compact, simple design and offers reliability and cost effective pricing. It has a range of 30 material and specification options, as well as materials that are best suited for a corrosive environment. The lead wire consists of PVC, XLPE and PTFE. The series is UL approved and can comply with every safety requirement.

The float switches are extremely compact and are easy to install, even in confined spaces. They are designed so that they are not affected at all by any form of electrical interference and are constructed to withstand chemicals, high temperatures and pressure.
