Omron’s new Accurax G5 servo drives combine sub-micron accuracy and millisecond settling times with a comprehensive range of built-in features, including safety and communication solutions. The drives are complemented by motors which are 25% lighter and 15% smaller than their conventional counterparts, and which use 10-pole construction to achieve a 40% reduction in cogging. The Accurax G5 motors, which have an IP67 ingress protection rating, also feature an integrated 20-bit encoder. They are on show in Hall 5, Stand I3.
