Varying ambient conditions within machine environments hinder the use of audible signals, and optical signals can sometimes not be seen because they lie outside the line of sight of the machine operator. The sounder element, with self-regulating sound level permanently measures surrounding noise levels. The alarm adjusts its sound output to the ambient noise level by permanently measuring the current conditions. It can be viewed in Hall 5, Stand I6.
