Due to popular demand, IDC Technologies are conducting another series of "Practical financial management and project investment analysis" workshops in South Africa this year. This intensive two-day workshop teaches engineers and technicians practical financial decision-making skills enabling them to evaluate and optimise technical projects.
Practical financial management and project investment analysis workshops have been attended by many thousands of practicing engineers and technicians from a variety of industry backgrounds. It is assumed that attendees to this workshop will have minimal prior financial knowledge and the mystique and terminology barriers normally associated with this subject are stripped away. Lively and topical examples are used throughout the two-day workshop.
After attending the workshop, delegates will be able to:
* Understand the profitability drivers of a project of company.
* Economically justify and optimise the expenditure of capital on projects.
* Predict preliminary life cycle estimates of income, capital and operating expenditures.
* Understand how to discount the cash flows for a project and calculate NPV and IRR.
* Perform sensitivity studies to allow for uncertainty and risk.
* Communicate more effectively with financial counterparts.
* Manage your personal finances in more meaningful and profitable manner.
IDC is offering a 5% early bird discount for all bookings received by 9 June 2000.
