The Electrex Instrumentation and Control exhibition has become an integral part of the Cape Industrial Trade Show (CITS) since its successful colocation with the event in 1998.
At CITS 2000 an extensive range of innovative new process control products and software applications will be on show.
Temperature Controls will display for the first time, the REX B850 multichannel controller. Only the size of a tissue box, it is ideal for applications requiring a small unit and multichannel processing power capabilities. The new RCK digital recorder can also be viewed, demonstrating the ease of programming multiple variables on one unit.
Compair will be exhibiting the new Sirius compressor range, fitted with user-friendly Delcos 3000 operating systems. The Delcos features loading/idling control, reduced after-running time, thermally controlled ventilation switching and energy saving pressure reduction, resulting in cost-efficiency and optimum safety.
Flender Power Transmission, which specialises in the design, manufacture, supply and servicing of industrial mechanical power transmission products, will be introducing its new Cavex-SC range of worm gearboxes and generator motors.
RS Components SA, offering over 106 000 top quality electrical, electronic and mechanical products and components and millions of solutions for technical people, will also be at the exhibition.
Major Tech will display a wide variety of test equipment, ELCB/RCB testers, on its stand. Of special interest is a new on/off control system, which replaces sophisticated PID controllers and reduces systems costs to a minimum.
SEW Eurodrive will be offering more than just geared motors on its stand. Variable speed controllers, for alternating and direct current applications provide a wide range of programmable options and servo systems addressing the growing needs of integrated manufacturing will also be on display.
CITS 2000 will run from 9-12 May at the Culemborg Exhibition Centre in Oswald Pirow Street, Cape Town. To book space contact TML Reed on (021) 488 1840.
