Citect awarded 12,4 million rand Anglo American platinum project

Citect has been awarded a major control system upgrade contract for Anglo American Platinum Corporation (Anglo Platinum) in Johannesburg. The R12,4 million contract is for the provision of Citect's award winning scada solution during the first phase of Anglo Platinum's precious metals refinery capacity upgrade project.
This recently started fast track project is scheduled for completion by June 2003. This project is part of the first of three phases of the refinery capacity upgrade. Further contracts will be tendered separately until completion of the upgrade in 2004.
Citect's open, scalable architecture and reliable performance, coupled with the company's proven track record and expertise in delivering high performance automation solutions to resource industries, reduces project risk and is critical to the success of the project.
