Penmac roadshow calender
January 2003
News
The complexity and sophistication of industrial control equipment distributed in remote areas in South Africa has been the on going motivation to 'take the technology to the user' philosophy, which initiated the roadshows. Where less senior levels of personnel in an organisation find themselves unable to attend gala events hosted in the metropolitan centres, the roadshows have proven invaluable in establishing and maintaining their knowledge base of current technologies.
Annual statistics for these roadshows indicates that exhibitors who have attended all shows for the past four years would have averaged 801 new contacts per year at less than R20 per contact. 2002 has seen the inclusion of the Penmac industry website which is currently averaging 18 to 20 hits per day providing news and information to suppliers and end users alike. On-line booking is now also available for exhibitors and visitors.
Penmac policy is to maintain costs at an affordable rate for all exhibitors to ensure continued scheduled visibility. On evaluation of venue bookings for 2003, increases will be limited to 4,5%. The schedule for the year 2003 is as follows
6 February 2003: Rustenburg
20 March 2003: Stellenbosch
8 May 2003: Richards Bay
24 July 2003: Secunda
19 August 2003: East London
21August 2003: Port Elizabeth
17 September 2003: Vaal Triangle
20 November 2003: Nelspruit
