Temperature/process meters and controllers that change colour at any preset setpoint

OEN Enterprises
A range of temperature/process meters and controllers which change colour at any set point is available from OEN Enterprises. The Newport I series are user-friendly and easy to program with a 21 mm, nine segment LED display. By using chip on-board and surface mount technology assembly techniques, a high degree of accuracy is achieved.
I-Series meters and controllers change colour at any setpoint, range or alarm points. Any single colour, green, amber or red can also be programmed in. Colours can be programmed to change back to their original colours when values return to normal or, to latch on until reset by the operator.
Free active x controls are provided making it easy to integrate the I-Series with information systems using ‘active x containers’ such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Excel, OLE, OPC compliant data acquisition, process control and industrial automation software.
Excitation is standard, and the optional analog output can be programmed within a range of 0–10 V d.c. or 0–20 mA. It can be selected as either a control output or, as a calibrated retransmission of the process value.
Various options are available including two control or alarm outputs, a choice of DC pulse, solid-state or mechanical relays, full autotune PID control and RS232 and RS485 Modbus serial communications. The instruments are offered in three true DIN sizes with NEMA-4 IP65 rated front bezels.
