A level-sensing instrument, with automatic calibration, allows easy and reliable level sensing of liquids, solids and slurries. Available locally from Temperature Controls, the Nohken CG capacitance point level sensor ensures high-end reliability and can be used as-is in both metallic and non-metallic containers.
Suitable for a wide range of applications, the CG is ideal for use on fermentation tanks in a brewery, in the pulp and paper industry and paint manufacturing, as well as in the production of cement and gypsum, in the pharmaceutical industry and in bulk solids handling systems.
Featuring a 4-digit and 8-segment graphic LCD, quick and easy monitoring of operation status and build-up conditions on the probe is easily facilitated. The CG sensor will automatically check the dielectric difference between free and covered status, whilst a 16-bit microprocessor enables quick programming for sensitivity, fail-safe, delay-time and set-points.
The CG's self-diagnostics and auto test capabilities minimise maintenance costs and the IP65/NEMA 4X die cast housing ensures durability in tough operating conditions. The unit has no mechanically moving parts and wetted parts are of 316 stainless steel.
