Low-cost operator interface solution

Red Lion's CL01 and CL40 operator interface terminals provide an appropriate solution for OEM applications where low cost is critical. These terminals use the same EDICT-97 software as all other Paradigm operator interfaces.

The CL01 features a 2-line by 20-character text-based liquid crystal display, two screen-legendable soft keys, 32 bit math, 100 alarm point logging capability, and two serial ports. The CL40 features a 2-line by 40-character text-based liquid crystal display, five screen-legendable soft keys, 32 bit floating point math, 250 alarm point logging, and three serial ports.

The multiple language feature of EDICT-97 allows each database to be displayed in up to eight languages. This provides the OEM with global compatibility at the touch of a button.

With over 90 drivers already written, the CL01 and CL40 are able to address most PLCs, motion controllers, temperature controllers, etc. Event and alarm logging capabilities add to the machine builder's ability to monitor the machine status. Typical applications of these features include machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
