High performance valve island
October 2002
Pneumatics & Hydraulics
Ernest Lowe, sole distributors of Norgren pneumatics components and automation systems, now offer the latest compact, lightweight, high-flow pneumatic valve island on the market.
Said to boast the highest available flow rate for any valve with a 10 mm width, 430 l/m, the VM10 can be used in place of larger, heavier and more expensive 16 mm and ISO valves. Made from a high-performance engineering polymer, the VM10 combines strength and stability with low weight.
With 260 different valve options available, multiple wiring options including 2-20 individually wired stations, 4-16 multipole stations, 4-16 Fieldbus stations, 7 Fieldbus protocols, multipressure options and six port sizes from 3 to 6 mm and 1/8 to 1/4", customers can choose from seven million possible configurations to specify a unit which meets their needs exactly.
Providing high resistance to chemicals, even with prolonged contact, it is particularly well suited to industries such as food packaging due to its high resistance to chemical washdowns as well as the special needs of the semiconductor, medical and printing sectors.
Its sleek, modern and compact design makes it easy to fit on any machine, and its light grey colour makes it suitable for all industry sectors.
