StrongARM touch panel computer

The TPC-1240T touch panel computer from Advantech, features a high-performance 303 mm SVGA TFT LCD display and Ethernet communication capability. Its RISC kernel, the Intel StrongARM 1110 processor, features low power consumption, cost effectiveness and good performance.

With 16 MB DRAM onboard, the device has a built-in Flash memory and is equipped with Windows CE. It has an IP65-compliant front panel with a four-wire analog resistive type touchscreen and continuous resolution and light transmission of above 68%. The touchscreen has a minimum lifetime of 1 million operations.

Housed in an Al-Mg and plastic moulded construction, the TPC-1240T supports Advantech's HMI software package. The slim and compact unit has a fan-less cooling system and a watchdog timer which is programmable for 250 ms, 500 ms and 1 s.
