Secunda - the annual event

September 2002 News

The heart of the petrochemical industry and numerous other supporting industries around the Secunda area were once again hosts to this year's Control and Instrumentation Roadshow, on 25 July 2002. For Penmac this is always a very exciting time as it represents the anniversary of the Control Roadshow, which now dates way back to July 1998 - when the concept was launched in Secunda. The statistics from then until now indicate a growth of 34% in exhibitors and a growth of 27% in visitors attending the shows. It is interesting to note that this trend ties in very closely with a recent international survey on exhibitor attendance.

This year's event coincided with the launch of the new Penmac website that now hosts much more than mere company information. As of 25 July visitors to the site can access significant amounts of industry information in an easy to understand - fast download format, as well as book on-line to visit an exhibition or exhibit at an exhibition. Detailed forward planning is also possible due to the on-line calendar of events in the industry covering not only Penmac shows but also all other industry happenings.
