Chilled and fresh food temperature monitoring system

May 2000 Temperature Measurement

Land Infrared, one of the world's leading specialists in the design and development of temperature measurement systems, with over 50 years of experience, now provide a new noncontact food thermometer system which will change the way chilled and fresh food temperatures are monitored at distribution. This system has been developed, following extensive trials, to reduce product waste and streamline the transfer of packaged food products. Vanguard provides a fast, accurate means of checking that food temperatures have been maintained through the distribution chain and are within the limits set by food safety legislation.

The temperature measurement process is nondestructive and nonintrusive. Produce is simply placed on the sapphire window in the top of the stainless steel enclosure. The operator presses a button and the product temperature is displayed within seconds. Vanguard integrates with existing temperature check and quality procedures.

* Save time - measurement taken in seconds not minutes.

* Save money, no waste, nondestructive testing of product.

* Fast payback - typical system payback in three weeks depending on application.

* Fast dependable measurement.
