Long-distance data transmission without interference

The SafetyBUS p fibre-optic transceiver converts electrical signals of a SafetyBUS p interface into optical signals. The data transmission is bi-directional in full duplex mode. Systems with data rates up to 500 Kbps are supported.

The optic-optic transceiver can be used with SafetyBUS p devices that are suitable for this application and which support the power supply at the interface. The transceiver is intended for use with a 50/125 µ or 62,5/125 µ GI glass fibre at a wavelength of 850 nm using optical ST connectors. The optical interface is not necessarily compatible to other optic-optic systems, so the transceiver should always be used as a pair. (Ordering number: 134337.)
