The E-series of operator terminals offers operator friendliness with performance. They cover the range of requirements from small text-based terminals to large terminals with TFT displays. Designed to cope with highly specific tasks and suitable for a wide range of applications, the terminals withstand tough industrial environments. The E-series currently consists of 12 terminals for essentially all conceivable uses.
Operator terminals in the E-series have all been developed from the same successful idea, that is with the same programming and operation. The commands and programming language are the same for all the terminals, something that is greatly appreciated by both operators and programmers.
The E-series provides excellent communication functions. Its web functionality allows users to be mobile and monitor their plants via the Internet. The operator terminal can send e-mail and transfer files in networks. Downloadable drivers make it possible to connect terminals in the E-series to the majority of makes of automation equipment. This further widens the group of users who can benefit from these terminals.
The series is continually being improved: the new dual drivers function makes it possible to connect two different makes or kinds of automation equipment to the terminal at the same time, for example a PLC system and a frequency inverter.
Taking up the minimum of space, the devices are easy to place and have a robust but elegant design. Their small size combined with narrow width make them suitable for fitting in panels. The smooth front surface makes washing the terminal simpler and safer.
