Protea Automation Solutions are now the sole distributor, for southern Africa, for the analytical products of SICK. For some time now, the company represented Maihak who are now part of the SICK | Maihak conglomerate and now Protea Automation Solutions will be marketing the complete analytical product offering of SICK | Maihak - which offers one-stop analysis and process technology for the analytical market. SICK | Maihak is now in a position to offer almost all the measurement technology for continuous analysis from a single source - from initial project planning to maintenance and repair throughout the entire life cycle of the product.
Analysis and process measurement products include dust monitoring devices, single and multicomponent gas analysers, chemical and water analysers and level monitoring devices. Intensive exchanges of information and training will be undertaken between SICK | Maihak and Protea engineers. A high level of consultancy expertise has been established between SICK | Maihak and the rest of the world - in fields as diverse as refuse incineration, cement production, energy generation and steel works. This process technology expertise is now available in South Africa.
