WSP SA grows to meet market demand

WSP Consulting Engineers has significantly grown its offerings to the market and its workload since it became part of the UK based WSP group in March 1999.
WSP UK was rated as the top consultant in the UK for 2001 and Andrew Mather, managing director of WSP SA, says the South African company plans to follow suit. With this as its aim, WSP has formed alliances and launched new divisions to bolster its expertise and service offerings to its markets.

WSP's Electrical and Mechanical Services Division has been extended to include industrial applications such as new factories, refurbishments and automation projects. Work is in hand for SAB, Consol Glass and Johannesburg Water.
WSP has also bolstered its KwaZulu-Natal Electrical Division with the acquisition of the electrical division of Chew Bowen and Marais in Durban.
