Local hydrostatic level/pressure measurement perfected

Locally manufactured utilising Gems' Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) technology enabling Transducer Technology to offer what it claims is the most stable pressure sensor on the market. The units are constructed from stainless steel with vented cable or a stainless steel tube configuration, to suit any application requirement.
They have been tried and tested in South African conditions for several years and have stood up to all demands for electrical protection, accuracy, stability, reliability and price performance.
Typical measurement accuracy of 0,25% or 0,15% (optional) can be attained over the range 50 kPa to 40 MPa G (0,5 - 400 bar G). The units can be configured to meet customer specified pressure ranges that fall within this range. The standard output is a 2-wire 4-20 mA that will operate on a very low voltage of 7 to 35 V d.c. - enabling customers to power the unit directly from a battery/solar panel in remote locations.
The Trantech Submersible is not only for full immersion, it finds itself equally at home in external pressure measuring applications, where the environment is extreme and the highest levels of build quality are required to ensure long life and no maintenance. With its new Intrinsically Safe (IS) capsule Transducer Technology can now cater for hazardous area applications as well.
Applications include hydrostatic level measurement in dams, oceans, rivers, reservoirs, boreholes and tanks as well as direct pressure measurements where the transmitter will be exposed. All units configured and constructed to suit the customers requirement available from stock.
