The EurothermSuite family of integrated hardware continues its universal approach over a wide range of processing industries. Available from Protea Automation Solutions, it is capable of controlling complete plants in key process industries by providing advanced control functions, comprehensive alarm and data logging, and powerful display interfaces. The system can provide all of the requirements needed to supervise production and integrate with enterprise management information systems.
The Visual Supervisor is a combined operator panel and controller capable of performing both continuous and sequential control. It features comprehensive alarm and event management, online historical trending and local data logging facilities. It can be used as a standalone system, or as building blocks for a larger system, such as the EurothermSuite.
Its total flexibility and common architecture gives the EurothermSuite the capability of handling the localised control needs of production units and plants, as well as the information needs of enterprise management. It can provide a comprehensive variety of totally integrated systems, which grow with plant needs and investment programmes. That includes the provision of high integrity traceability, reports, and open system connectivity, including OPC and Active-X.
