Recently appointed distributor exceeds expectations

March 2002 News

In the four months since Rhomberg appointed Starlight Wholesale Electrical Suppliers as a distributor for its electronics range, the Salt River company has become one of Rhomberg's top performers in the Cape. Established by the young and dynamic Bernadette Wasserfall in 1999, the company now employs 14 staff and recently moved into brand new premises in Salt River.

"We were delighted to be appointed by Rhomberg and their support and back-up is excellent," says Wasserfall. Since coming on board Rhomberg's new A-line monitoring relays have made serious inroads into the market, mainly thanks to Starlight. Rhomberg's range of sensors is also a top seller.

"Most of the staff have years of invaluable technical experience and their product knowledge is very good," says Hugo Vercuiel, branch manager Cape Town for Rhomberg, "Starlight's service and delivery is also excellent."

"Starlight supplies mostly to the industry, contractor business and over the counter. There is a lot more to be done out there. I can only see us go from strength to strength with Rhomberg," says Wasserfall.

Rhomberg provides regular in-house training or courses at their factory in Montague Gardens.
