Mimic Crafts has announced the launch of new additions to its EasyLog range of data logging equipment from Lascar Electronics. EasyLog HL is a small, low cost, handheld programmer and data retrieval unit which can be used with any of Lascar's data loggers. The module can be used to set up and operate loggers and has enough memory to hold data from eight full loggers - a total of 64 000 individual timed readings. The module also has IR capabilities which removes the need for direct connection to a PC.

The corresponding IR-equipped data logger Easylog 2-IR is also now available. An enhanced version of Lascar's Easylog 2, the module is capable of recording temperature, humidity, pH, voltage and current. It has a built-in LCD display, internal battery and a user-variable sample rate between 5 s and 12 h.

Applications for the EasyLog-HL and EasyLog 2/Easylog 2-IR include uses within the utilities, environmental monitoring, engineering diagnostics and many other areas.
