Jaycor appointed as Belden agent in southern Africa

Jaycor, a major supplier of a vast range of specialised cables, connectors and various allied products for the electrical, electronic, instrumentation and computer industries, has been appointed the agency for Belden in southern Africa.
Belden has been a leading worldwide supplier of specialty wire and cable products for nearly 100 years. They have one of the largest product offerings in the markets they serve, which includes over 3000 items for:
* Computer networking and computer equipment.
* Industrial instrumentation and control.
* Broadcast, entertainment and cable television.
* Telecommunications.
* Electrical equipment: including motors, lighting, test apparatus, heating and cooling.
Belden's industrial market definition has recently been expanded to include the numerous cable constructions used in a host of electronic equipment and control applications. Belden has segregated its entertainment products, used mostly in broadcast video and professional sound systems. All four are growth markets - driven by technical innovation such as digital television, faster and higher capacity data networks, electronically controlled manufacturing methods and spectacular advances in personal communications.
