A valuable one-day conference for chemical, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering staff. Speakers will discuss many practical issues, some of them are:
* Motivating young engineers to take control of their future.
* How job-hopping can harm their career later in life, effectively creating an artificial ceiling.
* Inspiring them to commit to a continual learning process.
* Warn them of the many financial traps and pitfalls.
* Show them how to communicate with their boss and colleagues.
Master of ceremonies will be East Coast Radio's Makhosi Khosa; Wynand Claasen - architect, Springbok rugby captain, will speak on 'Motivating a professional team.' Dr John Tibane, a professional speaker, and author of the book 'True dreams do come true', will talk on living a life of continuous learning.
Bookings are limited to 150 delegates, and will be made on a first come, first served basis. The conference is set for 20 September 2000 at the Durban ICC.
