Adroit Technologies recently announced the selection of its product as the server software platform for the public address, information display and CCTV system for Hong Kong's Kowloon and Canton Rail Corporation (KCRC) West Rail project.
A total of 11 stations will be covered, as well as an operations control centre and a back-up control centre. A pair of cluster servers (PAS/PIDS) plus a single CCTV server will be installed at each of these locations.
Adroit was selected in preference to other products due to its in-built, dual-redundant cluster server software capabilities. The Adroit software is user-friendly and has an easy-to-use third party application programmability via its cluster server-aware ActiveX Control.
