Shorrock Automation's official opening of new premises

Shorrock Automation recently celebrated the official opening of their new premises in Irene, Centurion. The function was well attended by clients, Shorrock Automation's staff and agents from around the country, local press, family and friends.

Jens Adomeit, IFM Electronic's Export Manager for the southern hemisphere travelled from Germany to attend the special occasion. Shorrock Automation acquired the sole South African IFM Electronic agency in 1978. Since then, the Efector brand of sensors, controllers and related products have been synonymous with local process control applications.

Shorrock Senior Associates was founded in 1975 by Roy Shorrock and changed its name to Shorrock Automation during 1999. The company, now under the leadership of Michael Pitschlitz, has become a leader in the local ASi industrial communication market.
