RS Components has announced an almost two-fold increase in its offering of NKK switches. The introduction of more than 460 additions to the range includes: toggles; pushbuttons; DIP and slide switches; and rotary, rocker, tactile and smart switches that integrate LCDs.
Key introductions in this large range extension are LCD display pushbuttons that are ideal for the many broadcast industries, including a frameless OLED pushbutton switch. This high-definition pushbutton has a contrast and resolution of 96 RGB x 64 pixels in a compact screen and minimal frame. The button has a range of 65k colours in its 16-bit mode and an operating life of at least 50 000 hours. The maximum use of the display lens with ultra-thin frame provides for full screen capacity and a 180-degree viewing angle.
Along with innovative products like the LCD pushbuttons, there have been key introductions into the offer in several switch areas. RS now stocks an expanded range of both toggle and pushbutton switches from NKK, with variations including sealed, illuminated, sub-miniature and ultra-miniature switches, suitable for a wide range of customer applications.
