Process and instrumentation control specialist Endress+Hauser has announced some significant improvements to its iTEMP family of head-mounted temperature measurement transmitters.

The iTEMP will in future be delivered with gold-plated contacts in order to continuously protect the unit from corrosion and effectively eliminate incorrect measurement due to increased terminal resistance.

The interference security of the PC-programmable TMT 181 and TMT 182 HART head transmitters in the iTEMP range has also been increased by the addition of a new specially designed EMC immunity circuit board which conducts any interference away from the transmitter electronics.

Universal input settings, revolutionary two-wire technology, ease of installation and commission and intrinsic safety make the range a premium solution for high precision applications.
