UIC Instrumentation acquires the agency for KPM products

UIC Instrumentation has announced its representation of Kajaani Process Measurements (KPM) in the South African market. KPM develops unique measurement solutions for the pulp and paper industry and is a part of the ABB Process Automation division.

KPM’s innovative products enable pulp and paper mills to manage and control consistency as well as secure reliable break detection of the paper machine. Its products are famous for being easy-to-use, offering several features enabling low cost of ownership and maintenance features. The company’s vision is to introduce new revolutionary products to the market, which continuously help customers to improve their process efficiency.

“All KPM products are supported by a global network of sales and support offices, which facilitates immediate support according to customers’ needs,” explains UIC sales and marketing director, Stewart Brown.

With an increasing reference base of installations, KPM has fast grown to be a major supplier for the pulp and paper industry. “KPM has the knowledge, products and experience to help pulp and paper producers achieve their process measurement objectives,” concludes Brown.
