Aegex Technologies has added Extech Safety Systems as a reseller in South Africa of its intrinsically safe Windows 10 tablets that bring real-time communications to the world’s most hazardous industrial operations.
For almost 30 years, South Africa-based Extech has been providing instrumentation, especially intrinsic safety, for hazardous area operations in southern Africa. “Extech Safety Systems is proud to announce that it is now an authorised reseller for Aegex in South Africa. Aegex offers Intrinsically Safe Zone 1 Windows tablets. These products complement the hazardous area instrumentation and industrial networking products offering comprehensive solutions for industrial applications,” said Extech sales director Gary Friend.
Aegex intrinsically safe Windows 10 tablets bring real-time connectivity to the world’s most hazardous locations in oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, public safety, utilities and other markets where volatile atmospheres are present. Aegex’s unified mobile platform enables enterprises to customise the Windows 10 intrinsically safe 10,1-inch tablets with enterprise-class software and industry-specific applications to offer real-time enterprise mobility for all personnel in multiple zones of hazardous locations.
