Introduction to NI LabVIEW and computer-based measurements hands-on workshop

1 May 2016 News

National Instruments invites you to attend a free workshop and learn how you can use NI LabVIEW to build powerful instrumentation and data acquisition systems. Learn about the concept of graphical programming and view live demonstrations that will teach you how to:

• Create complete LabVIEW applications from scratch in minutes with interactive Express VIs and I/O assistants.

• Design user interfaces.

• Control analog input and drive digital I/O lines.

• Build a basic control application.

• Create virtual instruments for signal simulation.

• Utilise the LabVIEW Project for managing large applications and team development.

• Connect and measure real-world signals using RTDs, thermocouples, strain gauges and more.

• Add structures for decision making into your applications.

Through a combination of presentation slides and instructor-led demos, you will leave the seminar with a confident understanding as to why the combination of NI LabVIEW system design software and NI DAQ hardware is the most productive, flexible approach to building accurate and reliable automated measurement solutions. Explore:

• The challenges of making measurements.

• Introduction to LabVIEW.

• Fundamentals of data acquisition.

• Uniting software and hardware.
