DEHNacademy will offer several learning modules, including e-learning, classroom training, customer seminars based on the SANS 62305 part 1-4 standards for lightning and surge protection, quarterly accredited CPD seminars, market specific workshops, covering the design of lightning and surge protection applications in different sectors, and accredited installer training and product training.

In addition, Dehn Africa is working closely with several South African universities to ensure that lightning protection is covered within their curricula. The organisation took the opportunity to hand over the Dehn Lightning Protection Guide, known globally as the trademark for practice-oriented technical literature in the fields of lightning and surge protection for buildings, installations and systems.

Furthermore, the company confirmed that, as part of the DEHNacademy offering, it would provide vacation work to fourth year university students, run summer and winter schools for third and fourth years, and has also established an annual Best Student Award, where one top student per year will be awarded with a year-long employment contract with the company.
