The M12 Power cables for assembly from Phoenix Contact are now listed according to UL 2237 and CSA C22.2 No. 182.3 (Canadian Standards Association). This means that they can be installed in machines that are exported to North America.
The product range comprises M12 power cables with S and T coding, developed and added to the IEC 61076-2-111 standard by Phoenix Contact. The S coding with up to 630 V and 12 A is designed for AC applications such as those in motors. The T coding with up to 63 V and 12 A is suitable for DC applications such as those in network components. The range is rounded off by connectors with screw connection for assembly, a Y-distributor, and a distributor box with four connections for decentralised power distribution.
