MESA International recognises eight outstanding contributors

June 2015 News

The Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association (MESA) International has announced the winners of its 2015 ‘Outstanding Contribution to MESA’ award. The annual award was established in 2008 to recognise the effort and dedication of individuals whose personal contributions have greatly benefited the entire association.

This year MESA is pleased to present this award to the following eight recipients:

• John Clemons of Maverick Technologies, Birmingham, Alabama, for excellence in his role as marketing committee chairman.

• Scott Daugherty of Cormetech, Durham, North Carolina, for excellence in his role as treasurer and finance committee chairman.

• Michel Devos of M.E.S. Consult, Region de Bruxelles-Capitale, Belgium, for driving and supporting MESA activities, events, and education in the EMEA region.

• Gerhard Greeff of Bytes Universal Systems, Midrand, for excellence in his work with the Metrics Working Group and Global Education Program.

• John Horst of NIST, Gaithersburg, Maryland, for his unwavering commitment to the Metrics Working Group.

• Khris Kammer of Rockwell Automation, Harleysville, Pennsylvania, for excellence in his long-term role as technical committee chairman

• Marc Leroux of ABB, Westerville, Ohio, for excellence in his role as education committee chairman.

• Erik Nistad of Mondeléz International, Deerfield, Illinois, for excellence in his leadership of the Recipe Transformation working group.

MESA International is working to establish a global baseline of knowledge about the role and business value of IT in production operations that will help everyone – manufacturers, producers and solution providers alike.

President of MESA International, Mike Yost, comments on the role of MESA’s members who volunteer: “MESA is a global community of industry professionals, and our members ‘win’ when volunteers contribute. These eight volunteers exemplify what it takes to move a community forward for the benefit of all. We wouldn’t have the valuable content, networks and educational tools we have today without passionate professionals, like these gentlemen, who volunteer their time and expertise.”
