Beckhoff has launched the CP6606 Panel PC with 1 Gig Intel ARM Cortex-A8. This entry level HMI touchscreen has a CP6606 built-in panel PC and is ideally suited for use in machine construction and plant engineering, for example with the TwinCAT automation software under Windows Embedded Compact 7 or as a CP-Link 3 client or Ethernet control panel.
At the other extreme, the new C6670 industrial server from Beckhoff represents one of the most powerful controllers to reach the market. It can be equipped with 12, 24 or 36 processor cores and its memory can be expanded from 64 GB up to 2 TB. The immense computing power provided by the C6670 can be most effectively utilised when each individual core is leveraged to the fullest using the TwinCAT 3.1 automation software platform from Beckhoff.
In addition the new AX8000 multi-axis servo system enables high-precision positioning and machining processes with extremely short control cycles. It has a compact form factor for space-saving control cabinet installation. Additional features include fast installation and commissioning by simply plugging together the desired axis modules, as well as One Cable Technology and the direct integration of safety functionality and mains filters.
“Right from the offset the show has been incredibly busy,” says MD Kenneth McPherson. “We have had an amazing start and generated some very good new leads. I take my hat off to all the high quality exhibitors who have put so much effort into making the show a success.”
Come and visit Beckhoff at Stand B23 to see this leading edge technology.
