Define Instruments launches new programmable panel meter

Define Instruments has launched a UL certified next generation panel meter that is 40% shallower than standard units and requires no power supply during programming. But, most surprisingly for a programmable panel meter, it has no buttons at all, which solves the problem of accidental button pressing experienced by many operators in the field.

Setup takes only minutes and is achieved via a PC and USB connection using Define’s free ToolBox software. The software also includes wiring diagrams and application examples to help non-technical operators to program the unit with the minimum of fuss.

The Merlin accepts both AC and DC power and boasts six input types and 31 modes/ranges, making it one of the most flexible panel meters in the market.
