AC/DC Dynamics recently announced a strategic partnership with Vacon to become the business partner for its AC drive and solar product ranges in Africa, which extends the company’s drives offering substantially through an internationally recognised, high quality brand.

Exclusively focused on variable speed AC drives, Vacon is constantly working with a wide customer base where AC drives are an integral part of the business. With many years of experience in the field, Vacon understand customer needs and offers cost effective solutions to meet them in terms of process efficiency, energy savings, eco-friendliness and the total cost of ownership.

The Vacon range

Vacon 10: An AC drive designed for applications where simplicity and efficiency are the key requirements. Typical applications include pumps, fans and production line conveyors.

Vacon 20: An AC drive packed with the functionality required to bring machine control to a new level. Built-in PLC functionality makes the product adaptable. Typical applications include packaging, processing and washing machines.

Vacon100: An AC drive bursting with smart new features which include 10 programme function blocks, accessible free of charge via the Vacon Live software tools. It also has built-in Ethernet capability to make integration to plant automation easy and efficient via integrated ModBus TCP, Ethernet I/P or Profinet IO. Typical applications include chippers, debarking drums and sawmills.

Vacon100 HVAC: An AC drive designed to meet and exceed the stringent requirements of the building automation industry. Easy installation, efficient and trouble-free operation, and fast return on investment are guaranteed.

Vacon 100 Flow: An AC drive dedicated to improving flow control in water and wastewater and building automation applications. It combines the core functionality of Vacon 100 with dedicated functions that are specifically designed with flow control optimisation in mind.
