Metso has received a repeat order for valves with accessories and spare parts for the Jamnagar Phase 3 refinery project being implemented at the world’s largest oil refinery located at Jamnagar Gurajat, India. Delivery scope includes on-off valves, ball and butterfly valves ranging from 1” to 30” in size from the Neles, Mapag and Jamesbury product portfolios. The delivery also includes accessories and spare parts.
“The orders for the Jamnagar Phase 3 show that Metso’s valve solutions play a critical role in demanding processes as they help to maintain reliable operation, maximise production efficiency and reduce safety risks,” said Markku Simula, senior vice president, oil and gas, Metso.
Metso has a strategic target to grow in the oil and gas industry with its flow control offering.
