AvaLAN Wireless announces 800 Mbps long range wireless Ethernet solutions

AvaLAN Wireless, a leader in long range industrial wireless Ethernet products, announced its new 800 Mbps, 5.8 GHz long range wireless Ethernet solutions. AvaLAN is now bringing industrially hardened 802.11ac product to the market that address customers’ needs for higher throughput. Utilising custom AvaLAN Wireless firmware and multiple-in-multiple-out (MIMO) technology, AvaLAN’s new AW58800 series delivers Ethernet throughput up to 540 Mbps. These new 800 Mbps radios are great for applications with high bandwidth or applications that may need scalability and are optimised to support IP-based megapixel surveillance cameras.
AvaLAN’s new AW58800 product family includes Access Points, Bridges and a model that can power cameras from its three POE+ outputs.
