Compressed air system maintenance simplified

October 2014 Maintenance, Test & Measurement, Calibration

The CS iTEC air monitoring system simplifies compressed air system maintenance. Work pressure on maintenance staff is never ending, staff are constantly monitoring a wide range of equipment that has to be serviced and maintained.

The CS 325 display and datalogger goes a long way to decrease these workloads. This unit is capable of monitoring up to 16 sensors enabling monitoring of compressed air flow, pressure, temperature, kW and kWh, dew point, as well as cooling water flow. With additional sensors such as the PC 312 particle counter, combined with an oil carry-over counter, even the compressed air system filter performance can be monitored. All this information from the air system can be constantly logged and monitored. Set points for alarm functions are easily set or adjusted.

Installation is fast and easy as the CS 325 can be linked via ZigBee to a cloud-based CSM2G software system that will allow you to review your compressed air system from almost any device.

Data can be transmitted to your scada system while being simultaneously available on a desktop or laptop. Your own compressed air system is mimicked on the display providing instant recognition of your system status. Cloud-based software makes system updates simple and painless.

Compressed air is a very expensive source of energy, wet and dirty compressed air will double the cost of an already expensive power source! Plant downtime caused by contaminated air creates havoc with any production schedule and rapidly deflates profitability.

Save money and time by installing the system to monitor your compressed air system now.

Compressed air monitoring reduces power wastage
Artic Driers International Pneumatics & Hydraulics
Air compressors are a major consumer of power, much of which ends up as air leaks in the factory distribution system. Energy is easily wasted by poorly performing air compressors that waste electricity and do not have rated air flow rates. Energy wastage is not sustainable and escalates production costs.
