Humidity/temperature sensing for indoor applications

The EE 09 transmitter from Temperature Controls is developed especially for heating, ventilation and airconditioning applications. Operating in the range of 10 to 90% RH and 0 to 50°C, various models are available including humidity, temperature and combined humidity/temperature transmitters. An input of 24 V d.c. powers the transmitter that allows two outputs of current - 4 to 20 mA and voltage - 0 to 10 V d.c. with an accuracy of ±3% of RH from 40 to 60% RH.

High measuring accuracy and long-term stability are achieveable. The humidity elements cater for the highest demands in capacitive measurement, setting the standards for linearity, hysteresis, response time and saturation effects.

A linearity error of less than ±1,5% within 0 to 98% RH provides the customer with the opportunity to make good cost savings in circuitry and calibration. Two versions are available, offering capacitances of 500 and 200 pF. This high performance is designed for measuring instruments, dataloggers, medical use, meteorology and HVAC applications.
