The ATEQ South African subsidiary has been operating since 1995 and as of 1 April 2012, ATEQ head office in France made a decision to purchase the South African operation. ATEQ South Africa is now under the directorship of ATEQ France, offering better service, better prices and a bigger communication structure supported by 36 branches worldwide. It has also moved premises to Edenvale and is able to service nationally from this Johannesburg office. Presenting new staff members and a new management team for South Africa, general manager Max Savioli, technical services engineer, Drikus Odendaal, and assistant Sian Walker, plan to develop customer relations through the best service possible.
ATEQ South Africa specialises in leak and flow testing, pitot testing and certified calibrations and technical assistance throughout South Africa. It is now introducing a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and the ATEQ Omicron range of products for the aerospace and aeronautical industry. The company also operates in the medical, automotive and packaging industries.
