Multifunctional analog USB I/O module

The USBDAQ-9100MS is a 100 kS/s, multifunctional I/O USB module. This high performance device has reliable data acquisition capabilities to meet a wide range of USB interface-based applications. The interface offers the benefit of USB plug-and-play with portable advantages. The DAQ features include 8/DI 12 bit analog inputs, two 12 bit analogue outputs, 16 digital I/O and two counter/timers. A point worth highlighting is that the module offers simultaneous sampling on four of the analog input channels.

Features include:

* USB Specification 1.1 compliant.

* Eight differential analog input channels with 12 bit resolution.

* Simultaneous sampling of four analog input channels.

* On-board AD FIFO memory.

* Up to 100 kS/s AD sampling rate.

* Two 12 bit monolithic multiplying analog outputs.

* 32 bit pacer timer, 16 bit pre-trigger counter, and two 16 bit general-purpose timer/counter.

* Eight isolated digital inputs and eight isolated digital outputs.

* LED indicator.

* Driver support for Windows 98/2000.

About USB

Universal serial bus (USB) makes adding peripheral devices very easy. It replaces all the different kinds of serial and parallel port connectors with one standardised plug and port combination. USB connectors allow data to flow both ways between the PC and the peripheral. Thanks to another USB feature known as 'hot-swapping', users do not even need to shut down and restart the system to attach or remove a peripheral.
