Eaton’s easyFamily range of devices provides a harmonised universal system, from the easyRelay control relay to the MFD-Titan multi-function display, right up to the easySafety safety-related control relay and the compact easyControl PLC. The devices are based on a common concept and depending on the variant are designed to solve both simple and complex control tasks. The easyFamily range exhibits a high level of functionality, incorporating simple operation and handling. These versatile devices are ideal for a wide range of industrial applications, including building automation.
With their different performance classes, easy500, easy700 and easy800 provide the optimum solution for small, medium and large control tasks and functions such as PID controller and value scaling. With the easyRelays, 1:1 electronic circuit diagrams can be entered.
In addition to the control functions, the easy800’s multi-function MFD-Titan display provides versatile visualisation options. The simplicity of mask design and parameterisation of ready-made visualisation elements allow easy representation of bargraphs, bitmaps, text and values.
Devices with integrated connection for the easyNet network can be easily interconnected. With easyNet, up to eight devices can communicate with one another at a distance of up to 1000 metres. Applications with up to 328 I/O points can be implemented in this way.
The combination of an easy800 control relay with direct connection to the communication system for SmartWire-DT switchgear provides an innovative solution in control panel design and construction. The renowned simple handling of easyRelay and the efficient SmartWire-DT connection technology provide considerable savings in terms of time and costs during planning, commissioning and maintenance.
The easyControl compact PLC is ideally suited to small and medium-sized automation tasks. The integrated CANopen interface enables the connection to the easyNet network. With Ethernet on board, additional demands such as an OPC server and network programming are taken into consideration. Programming is compliant to IEC 61131-3 with XSoft CoDeSys-2.
The safety-oriented easySafety control relay efficiently combines safety and standard control functions in a single device. It monitors all necessary safety devices on machines and systems and supports the implementation of applications which comply with the highest safety demands.
